I started work as a reporter at the Leduc Rep weekly newspaper on Monday. The newsroom is small, but its audience is engaged, so I’ll have my work cut out for me during this summer internship.
Each week, I’ll collect my published work here. The paper hits stands on Fridays, but we go to press on Wednesdays and online publication is staggered, so I’ve only got an introductory column to share today:

Born and raised in Mill Woods, the City of Leduc has always been a 25-minute drive away, but I’m only now realizing the exciting things thriving in this community. I look forward to reporting for you as the Leduc Rep’s summer intern. Read more
I definitely missed working in a newsroom, and the pace is just as gruelling as I remember. However, I don’t want to bog you down with separate posts for each of my reports, so outside of these weekly updates, I’ll only flag exceptionally relevant stories. I hope you’ll stay tuned.
