His parents died in an train crash along with 63 others travelling between Peshi and Rokkusu. The character interactions that follow fundamentally shift the suspicions that have been hinted at throughout the show.
Demi-chan wa Kataritai (Interviews with Monster Girls) presents a slower episode this week. More awkward than enlightening, a few jokes string it along, but the most interesting images come in a six-second preview at the end.
Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid (Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon) meaningfully explores Tohru’s affection for Kobayashi this week, and it does so in a way that personally hits me hard.

Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid (Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon) dodges its way into my heart this week as Kobayashi preps Kanna for school. It also ducks, dips, dives, and dodges its way through some great comedy and animation in the second half.
ACCA: 13-Territory Inspection Department (ACCA: 13-ku Kansatsu-ka) introduces a strikingly different locale this week with a mini arc, while still managing to develop its overarching mystery.
Demi-chan wa Kataritai (Interviews with Monster Girls) strikes another strong episode this week, tackling issues of compassion and inclusiveness with superb tact.
Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid (Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon) settles into a tonal rhythm this week. It grants plenty of room for its new cast additions to breathe with the same charm it showed off before, albeit without the eye-popping animation sequences.
ACCA: 13-Territory Inspection Department (ACCA: 13-ku Kansatsu-ka) pushes forward this week by thickening its plot and introducing new characters. And despite some less focussed plot lines that close the episode, its great directing maintains the distinct mystery tone its already established.
